Applications are now live for the ‘Brigid, Spirit of Kildare Festival, Community and Creative Grant Scheme 2026’, Kildare County Council (KCC) has announced.

KCC has encouraged communities, groups, creatives, clubs and other relevant organisations to apply for the grant scheme attached to the Festival.

According to KCC, it is interested "in inclusive projects that reflect the cultural richness of Kildare and the diversity of all communities living in the county".

"We are committed to projects that consider equality, inclusion, accessibility and diversity," KCC added.

It should be noted that applications must be made online. 

KCC further said: "If you applied last year, please remember to use the profile you created to complete your 2025 application.

"We strongly recommend you read the grant guidelines prior to submitting your application."

The closing date for submission of applications is 4pm on Friday, October 31, 2025.

Anyone with enquiries about applying to the Festival is asked to email spiritofbrigid@kildarecoco.ie or phone 045 980 653.
