Man hospitalised following aggravated burglary in Kildare town

A Kildare town man had to be hospitalised following an incident of aggravated burglary.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this particular crime, a garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí and emergency services responded to the scene of an aggravated burglary in County Kildare on October 1, 2025 at approximately 4.20am.

"A male aged in his 30s was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for serious injuries, but not believed to be life threatening."

The spokesperson added that the investigation into this matter remains ongoing.
