A residential construction site in Naas
Information is being sought about creches which have not been built - even though these were to have been constructed as part of planning permission granted for residential development.
Cllr Evie Sammon asked for the information from Kildare County Council.
She told a Naas Municipal District committee meeting that at least three developments were to have included creches, as part of planning conditions.

Naas mayor Seamie Moore said sometimes “creches never appear” even though people who buy houses in the area expect that one will be located “quite near.”
According to KCC it “will take some time to extract the data requested” and the councillors will be provided with it when this is done.
