Criminal damage was caused to an off-licence store located in County Kildare, a garda has said.
Details of the incident were read out on a KFM radio programme earlier today (September 24) by Garda Chris Fallon.
He explained that the crime occurred on the night of Tuesday, September 16 last at O'Keeffe's Off-Licence in Kilcock.
According to Gda Fallon, the perpetrator kicked a door at the premises, causing damage to it.
He urged anyone with information in relation to this crime to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about this particular incident, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received a report of alleged criminal damage incident that occurred at a business premises in Kilcock, County Kildare, on Tuesday September 16, 2025 at approximately 10pm."
They added: "[The] investigation remains ongoing at this time."
