Councillors seek information about emergency accommodation in Kildare

Kildare County Council has been asked to provide elected councillors with clear information about how emergency accommodation is allocated.

Two Social Social democrats councillors - Claire O'Rourke and Chris Pender - want to know the procedure used when a request is made through the emergency line.

The are also want to know about the legal requirements and criteria applied in determining eligibility and placement as well as details about the current availability and capacity of emergency accommodation within the county.
