No overcrowding at Tullamore or Portlaoise

Eight people were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

There were no patients on trolleys at Tallaght Hospital or at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown and the most overcrowded facility in the eastern region was St Vincent's Hospital, which has 23 people on trolleys.

There were no patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital or at Portlaoise Hospital.
