Brand ambassador Roz Purcell launches the initiative
This autumn, doing something as simple as taking a test drive could help transform lives.
Ford Ireland and Finlay Ford have teamed up with Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind to bring the Drive 4 UR Community charity test-drive event to Whitewater Shopping Centre, Newbridge, on Saturday, September 27, from 9am to 4pm.
The idea is simple: for every test drive completed, Ford will donate €30 to Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, up to a total of 6,000.
That means every person who gets behind the wheel will play a direct role in supporting vital services that help people who are vision-impaired or families of children with autism.

Attendees will have the chance to experience Fords exciting new line-up of vehicles, including the adventurous All-Electric Explorer, the sporty All-Electric Capri, and the stylish All-Electric Puma Gen-E.
Speaking about the initiative, Finlay Ford Naas highlighted the importance of community involvement: “We’re proud to support Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, an organisation that makes a real difference in peoples lives. This event gives our community the chance to make a big impact while also enjoying the thrill of driving the latest Ford models.”
No booking is necessary, but places can be reserved in advance for those who want to guarantee their test-drive slot.
