There were seven people treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

The most overcrowded facility in the eastern region today was St Vincent's Hospital, which had 32 patients on trolleys. There were no patients on trolleys at Tallaght Hospital or Tullamore Hospital.

Portlaoise Hospital had five patients trolleys.
