Nine patients were treated on trolleys today at Naas Hospital, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

There were 25 people on trolleys at both St James's Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin and the figure for the Mater was 23.

There was no overcrowding at Tullamore Hospital and there were seven patients on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital
