The change of use is being sought for a previously approved mixed-use crèche building which would be located in County Kildare.
Springwood Limited is seeking planning permission from Kildare County Council (KCC) to make the changes to the development, which would be situated at The Orchard, Oldtown Demesne, Sallins Road in Naas, County Kildare.
According to the description of the application, the owners want to change the ground floor of a two-storey building from a crèche (which has existing permitted use) into two apartments: one with two bedrooms and a floor area of with floor area of 74.1 square metres; and one with three bedrooms and a floor area of 106.2 sq m.
The first floor of the premises already has two one-bedroom apartments, bringing the total number of apartments contained in the property up to four.
A new wall would also be built at the back in order to provide outdoor spaces for the two new apartments.
