A vehicle which was stolen from a County Kildare premises was later found burned out.
Garda Brian Carroll told KFM yesterday (August 20 last) that a vehicle was stolen from the Beech Wood Park region of Leixlip on between August 16 last and August 17 last.
The stolen vehicle was later found burned out in a separate location.
In addition, he said that a handbag and a sum of cash were also stolen from the premises.
He concluded by calling on anyone with information about the burglary and / or the theft of the vehicle to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.
When asked by the Leinster Leader for comment on this incident, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí are investigating a reported incident of burglary from a premises in Leixlip, County Kildare, on August 17, 2025."
The spokesperson added that "enquiries are ongoing".
