Garda probe launched following daylight theft at Kildare retail premises

A garda probe has been launched following a daylight theft incident which occurred at a retail premises in County Kildare.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this particular crime, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí received a report of a theft that occurred at a retail premises in Newbridge, County Kildare at approximately 2.30pm on August 6, 2025."

The spokesperson added that "investigations are ongoing" at present.
