Power tools were recently stolen from a vehicle which was parked in a County Kildare estate.

Details of the incident were highlighted on a KFM radio programme earlier today (August 6) by Garda William Barry.

According to Gda Barry, the crime took place in the early hours of Tuesday, August 5 last in the Páirc Mhuire region of Newbridge.

He added that a number of power tools were stolen from the vehicle.

Gda Barry concluded by urging anyone with information or CCTV footage in relation to the incident to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045 440 180.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this particular crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received a report of a theft from a car that occurred at approximately 1am on August 5, 2025 in Newbridge, County Kildare."

The spokesperson also said that investigations are ongoing at present.
