Athy Municipal District cathaoirleach Ivan Keatley asked that these works be carried on the Ardscull to Ballindrum road.
He said the work should be done immediately.
According to Kildare County Council, this work is part of its three year programme and works are expected to be undertaken in 2026/2027.
