From Unused Ground to Uplifting Landscape

What began as an unused overflow car park and neglected patch of land is now home to thousands of sunflowers, some standing over eight feet tall. Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, which raised over €5,000, organiser Austin O’Callaghan and team have returned with renewed energy, and a larger field, aiming to raise even more for these essential causes.

Wander Through a Blooming Experience

This year’s visitors can meander through flower tunnels and carefully designed pathways in the shape of a tractor wheel, leading to a circular clearing surrounded by towering sunflowers. It’s a perfect setting for photographs and a joyful, tranquil space to enjoy with friends, family, or solo.

Supporting Two Vital Causes

All proceeds will go directly to Pieta House, which provides suicide prevention and mental health services, and Women’s Aid, which supports survivors of domestic abuse.

How to Get Involved

  • Walk the field – A suggested donation of just €1 per visitor, collected via honesty boxes.

  • Buy a sunflower – Freshly cut blooms available for €1 each from donation buckets.

  • Share and enjoy – Bring the whole family, take beautiful photos, and savour the uplifting atmosphere.
