Kildare gardaí launch investigation following theft from vehicle in Newbridge

Gardaí in County Kildare have launched an investigation following an incident of theft which occurred in a mechanically propelled vehicle (MPV).

When asked by the Leinster Leader about the crime, a garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of theft from a MPV in Newbridge, County, Kildare that occurred between 10pm on Monday, July 28, 2025 and 11.15am on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

"No damage to the vehicle was incurred."

The spokesperson added: "[The] investigation is ongoing."
