18 people were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

It was the second most overcrowded hospital in the eastern region after St Vincent's University Hospital. Two Dublin hospitals - Beaumont and Tallaght - reported no patients on trolleys.

There were seven people on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital and none at Tullamore Hospital.
