The Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge
The Keadeen Hotel is joining forces with Taste of Kildare and Into Kildare to deliver a standout experience at this year’s festival, taking over the iconic Circle Restaurant at Naas Racecourse for a weekend of refined dining and warm hospitality.
Taking place over the weekend of August 16 and 17, The Keadeen’s Circle takeover will transform the space into an elegant dining hub at the heart of the festival. Guests can enjoy a full-service lunch, choosing from a one-course option for €12.50 or a two-course menu for €19.50 — with prices starting from €27.50 including Taste of Kildare entry. A decadent high tea experience will also be available, all served with panoramic views of the racecourse from the Circle’s spectacular balcony.
For those on the move, The Keadeen is introducing a gourmet takeaway option — the Sunday Roast Wrap. This modern twist on a classic dish features tender roast beef with all the trimmings, wrapped in a warm Yorkshire pudding and designed for those who want festival flavour on the go.
“Taste of Kildare is one of the country’s most exciting and growing food festivals,” says Sharon Deegan, Director of Sales at The Keadeen Hotel. “Partnering with the event allows us to connect directly with food lovers from all over Ireland in an atmosphere that celebrates the very best of local talent.”
Executive Head Chef Joey Deering, who leads the team behind Saddlers Bistro and The Bay Leaf Restaurant, will showcase some of the hotel’s signature dishes across the weekend. Known for his calm leadership style and flavour-focused cooking, Joey’s festival standout is his Duck Croquette — a dish that balances finesse and comfort, and reflects The Keadeen’s classic culinary ethos.
The Circle takeover offers something rarely found at a festival — the buzz of a large-scale event combined with the ease and elegance of a full-service dining experience.
