new medical centre being planned for Naas town / FILE PHOTO
Good news as new medical centre is planned for Naas in Co Kildare.
The proposed €1.3m facility is earmarked for the Jigginstown area off the Newbridge Road in the town.
An existing two-storey commercial building will be sub-divided for mixed use with a convenience shop and a pharmacy unit at ground floor level.
There will also be two medical consultation units at first floor level.
The designs include the construction of a new two-storey stairway to the rear.
Also proposed is an extension of the existing first floor area within the building.
Alterations include re-cladding, new building entrances and new signage.
New car parking is also in the plans.
The promoter of the project is Star Primary Care Ltd based in Blessington.
