Council asked if it plans to remove bollards in Kildare town

The Basin Street/Abbey Street, Naas, junction

Kildare County Council has been asked to confirm if it has plans to remove the bollards at the Basin Street/ Abbey Street junction in Naas.

Naas Mayor Fintan Brett says this would to allow one way access for canalside residents to their homes.

He says it is needed when Moat Lane is blocked by trucks making deliveries to businesses in the area.
