In a clever move, Kildare Yarn Bombers have converted a bunting into clothes for a good cause.

Hundreds of knitted squares had been created as part of the latest Yarn Bomb, which has been held in Newbridge every June since 2016.

Previously, the group said that it had set an Irish record for the longest bunting in Ireland.

And now, Kildare Yarn Bomb has revealed that it has repurposed the squares from its 2025 event into items of clothing.

The group explained in a Facebook post: "And just like that, the bunting from last week has been magically turned into neck scarves for the Team Hope Christmas box appeal."

"Thank you to every single one of you who made a square for this special project."
