A call has been made for more bus stops in Naas.
Cllr Bill Clear told a Naas Municipal District meeting that the National Transport Authority should be asked to provide more on along the Newbridge Road in Naas.

“In particular, consideration should be given to installing a bus stop in the Jigginstown area, where there is currently no provision given the significant development in the area,” he told a Naas Municipal District committee meeting.
He said numerous residential developments have been completed in the area and “it’s not feasible for people to have to walk one and a half kilometre to get to a stop - they won’t do it.”
