Anyone wishing to give back to Ireland's beautiful wildlife may be in luck, as Kildare Wildlife Rescue (KWR is currently looking for a receptionist to join its organisation.

Announcing the opening on social media, KWR said: "Are you looking for a way to become a part of our team but haven’t found the right fit yet?

"We are currently looking for volunteers to join our busy but welcoming reception team. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to help out, but who may not want direct animal involvement.

"No experience needed — we will provide full training."

KWR added: "We are especially looking for help evening time Monday to Friday and daytime weekends."

Anyone who wishes to apply for this role is asked to contact KWR by emailing volunteer@kwr.ie.

KWR also made headlines last month when it announced that it was seeking speakers for its upcoming Biodiversity Conference event, which will be held on October 18 and October 19, 2025.
