Two beekeepers based in County Kildare have announced a honey delivery day, which will take place later this week.
Announcing the day on its official Facebook page, Cill Dara Honey explained: "If you would like some local honey from our beehives in Athgarvan — our bees can forage from the flowers and trees all over Newbridge — drop us a message on WhatsApp to 083 374 4907 including your address and Eircode."
According to the duo, three jars of honey can be purchased for €20 (delivery charge €5). Each jar weighs 8oz /225g.
They further said: "Cash on delivery is perfect. Not home when we deliver? Revolut payment after delivery is perfect too.
"If you have sent us a message asking for delivery and not heard back from us, please message us again (we were away on holidays and might of missed your message)."
The honey delivery day will take place this Thursday, June 12, 2025.
