Review of emergency response to storm impact in Kildare

Kildare County Council is being asked about a review of its emergency response following the extensive damage caused by Storm Eowyn in parts of the county.

Cllr Bill Clear has asked KCC to confirm it has undertaken the review "to identify what improvements could be made, what additional resources - both in terms of funding and personnel - have been identified as necessary to effectively respond to future severe weather events.

He is also seeking confirmation that there is a proposal to formally integrate Uisce Éireann and ESB Networks into the Council’s emergency planning framework.
