Cash and jewellery were stolen from a County Kildare home during daylight hours.

That's according to Garda Seán O'Mahony of Athy Garda Station, who provided details of the crime to KFM on Wednesday, May 21 last.

He said that the cash and jewellery was stolen from a property located in the Sarto Park region of Naas on May 15 last.

Gda O'Mahony concluded by urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this particular crime, a garda spokesperson had this to say:  "Gardaí attended the scene of a burglary that occurred on May 15, 2025 at a house in Naas, County Kildare between 10am and 4pm.

"A number of items were taken."

The spokesperson concluded: "No arrests have been made."
