It's that time of year again. The Ardscoil Rath Iomgháin Auction and Good as New Sale is taking place on Sunday, May 25.

Kicking off at the school (R51 DA36) at 11am, it's advised to get in early to pick up a bargain. Running for nearly 30 years, it is one of the biggest annual events in Rathangan with people coming from all corners of Kildare and beyond. The quality of the items on offer is always top notch.

“It's a very social event and a great way of catching up with friends while raising money for such a good cause. All proceeds go directly to the secondary school,” said the organisers.

“We have bikes/scooters, small furniture, household, toys/games/nursery, garden, bags/costume, jewellery, musical instruments, you name it.”

There will also be cake, tea/coffee for sale. Cash only. Anyone who has any items they would like to donate can drop them off to the school gym on Friday, May 23 from 1pm to 4pm or Saturday 24, from 9am to 4pm.

“We are also holding clothes collection as part of the auction. Clothes can be dropped to Murlock Construction R51CX66 from Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, or Saturday 8am to 2pm. If you are unable to drop to the above address, collection can be arranged if required through our Facebook page,” they added.

The event is organised by the Parents Association of Ard Scoil Rath Iomghain. For further information, contact 087 6563963, 086 3846669, 086 8666514, 086 8401368 or 087 7768300. For further information check out Ardscoil Rath Iomgháin Parents Association on Facebook.
