The exhibition was officially opened by Wayne Byrne, a renowned film and music historian who works at the Naas Library and Cultural Centre.

A highlight of the evening was the announcement by past member Gerry Walsh of Grazia D’Aversa Kelly as the winner of the Damien O’Keeffe Memorial Shield, with the O’Keeffe family presenting the award.

Special thanks were extended to group member Paul O’Rourke for his printing of the images and Rubio Michael Hannigan of Fráma in Naas for expertly framing each photograph. Library staff were also thanked for continuing support to the group. The exhibition runs until Friday, May 16, and the public is warmly invited to visit and support the display of images.
