Neither daughter was present or represented for the brief in camera (in private) hearing.

The woman said she had to leave her home. She claimed she was pushed and fell to the ground. She also said that one of the daughters screamed into her face.

Solicitor Jackie McManus said the woman is from the Travelling community. Ms McManus said the children are not dependents and have no right to be in the home.

The woman also heard that the woman is the sole carer of grandchildren.

Judge Desmond Zaidan granted an interim barring order against both daughters. He initially adjourned the case for a fuller hearing to March 18.,

On the adjourned date one of the daughters said she did not know why her mother was “doing this” and denied assaulting her, saying she has CCTV evidence to prove this.

She also produced a number of references provided on her own behalf.

She said she loves her mother and also denied changing locks at the property.

Another daughter also denied assault and said she had CCTV evidence to prove this.

Ms McManus stated the mother does not want her daughters on the property and they should not be there.

Judge Zaidan granted a safety order and said that if this is breached he will grant the woman a barring order.
