Eustace Demesne is relatively new estate in Naas
A man has been convicted of murder following the death of a man aged in his 30s following an incident in Naas over a year ago.
Padraig Delaney, 44, whose address was given as Williams Drive, Ongar Green, Dublin 15, was found guilty by a jury at the Central Criminal Court, sitting in Tullamore.

The case was adjourned to Court 9 at the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin before Mr Justice Paul Burns on May 12.
The accused has been remanded in custody.
The defendant was initially remanded in custody on April 16, 2024, following an appearance at Naas District Court.
The defendant, whose address at the time was given as 6 The Lane, Eustace Demesne, Naas, was charged with the murder of 37 year old Shane Knott between April 3-14, at that address.
Detective Sergeant Enda Gallagher told of arresting the defendant at home on April 15 and when he charged him, the defendant replied “it was self defence.”
The court was also told that the day before a person contacted the garda expressing concerns that “there may be a body” at Eustace Demesne.
Gardaí went to the address and discovered the remains of the deceased.
Det Sgt Gallagher said a post mortem examination conducted by Dr Margaret Bolster indicated that he died violently.
The court also heard that a number of exhibits were seized by the gardaí, including timber.
He told the court that he is satisfied the incident occurred at the house and Mr Knott was found in the back garden.
He further said the deceased had head injuries but the investigation is in its infancy and he could not say what caused these.
The two men are relatives, the court was told.
