Ex-husband threatened to burn down house, Kildare court told

A woman said her husband threatened to burn the house down.

She made the allegation during a family law learning at Naas District court.

The woman told the court she has a protection order and she is not divorced.

She also claimed that he has breached the protection order five times and he had been in court and was granted bail.

It was claimed that he had drug addiction problems.

The woman also claimed that he had exposed their daughter to violence and had made threats in front of her.

Judge Desmond Zaidan granted an interim barring order against the man who was not present or represented. He said he was doing this because of the daughter.
