Two Apple MacBooks and two pairs of Apple AirPods were stolen from a car parked outside of a supermarket in County Kildare.

That's according to Garda Brian Carroll of Newbridge Garda Station, who described the crime when he appeared on a KFM radio programme yesterday morning (April 23 last).

He explained that the incident took place on Thursday, April 17 last at around 5.10pm, and that the car was parked outside of the Aldi store located on the Kilcock Road in Maynooth.

According to Gda Carroll, the car was broken into and the perpetrator fled the scene with two black Apple MacBooks and two white pairs of Apple AirPods.

He concluded by urging anyone with information about this crime, as well as anyone who may have been offered the aforementioned Apple products for purchase, to contact Maynooth Garda Station on 01 629 2380.

When asked by the Leinster Leader for comment on this incident, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of theft from a vehicle that occurred on Thursday, April 17, 2025 in Maynooth, County Kildare at approximately 5pm.

"A number of items were taken.
