Woman is afraid to go home because of husband, Kildare court told

A woman told Naas District Court she is afraid to go home because of her husband.

She claimed he had told her not to return home and said he would put all of her clothes outside the door.

During a family law hearing, she also claimed that he had said “we are done, you have one week to leave.”

She told Judge Desmond Zaidan that she did not know why the man, who was not present or represented,  is behaving like this and said they had gone to a marriage counsellor.

“He doesn’t trust me, trust was always an issue with him,” she added.

Judge Zaidan granted an interim protection order and adjourned the case to October 13.
