A disabled parking space is being sought for a premises located in Maynooth.
The matter was raised at the latest Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting, which took place on Friday, April 4 last.
Labour Party councillor Angela Feeney motioned for Kildare County Council (KCC) to "provide a disability parking space at St John of Gods, Leap Hub in Fagans Lane, Maynooth".
Cllr Feeney, who appeared at the meeting by virtual means, further told KCC: "Having visited the area on numerous occasions, they would really benefit from having a [disabled parking] spot here."
KCC told Cllr Feeney via its report at the meeting that as this site is in the parking bye-law area, it will have to be considered under the next pay parking bye-law review.
A representative for KCC in attendance also told Cllr Feeney that this would not be taking place in the near-future.
