The Georgian palladian house which was built between 1741 and 1755  is regarded as one of Ireland’s most beautiful houses and has an important role to play for tourism in Wicklow, said Fine Gael TD Edward Timmins.

He added: "Alongside other heritage funding streams such as the Built Heritage Investment Scheme and the recently re-opened conservation advice grant scheme, the historic structures fund aims to conserve, protect, and promote the use of historic buildings across our cities, towns, villages, and countryside”.
