ALERT — Faults reported in Dunfirth, County Kildare

Two power faults have been reported in the Dunfirth region of County Kildare.

According to the ESB's PowerCheck map, there is a fault at Tanderagee and another at Johnstown Bridge.

The first fault is currently affecting around 106 customers, while the other fault is affecting around 23 customers, with estimated repair times listed by the ESB as 1pm and 12.15pm respectively.

There is also a planned service interruption ongoing in nearby Edenderry — 72 customers are expected to be without power until around 5pm.

In relation to the two faults and planned service interruption, the ESB said: "We apologise for the loss of supply.

"We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible."
