Members of An Garda Síochána (AGS) in County Kildare are probing a burglary which took place at a home located in Naas.

The incident was detailed by Community Garda Aidan McGuane (Maynooth) when he appeared on a KFM radio programme yesterday (March 19 last).

Gda McGuane explained that the burglary took place at a property located in the Millbridge Court region in the early hours of March 15 last.

He further said that one of the residents in the house looked out of a front window and spotted two men just outside the property.

"Both men were wearing short sleeves, puffy jackets and hats; the men fled and ran from the scene after being shouted at," Gda McGuane added.

It was later discovered that a bank card was taken by the perpetrators.

He concluded by urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.

When asked by the Leinster Leader for comment, a spokesperson for AGS said: "Gardaí received a report of an incident of burglary that occurred at approximately 5.30am on March 15, 2025 in the Millbridge Court area of Naas, County Kildare."

"Investigations are ongoing at this time," the spokesperson added.
