Woman alleged in Kildare court that husband used a device to track her car

A woman told Naas District Court she believed her husband used a tracking device to trace her car.

The woman further alleged he is abusive and aggressive and “any attempt to engage in conversation results in yelling.”

She was seeking protection under family law legislation and said that "everything turns into an argument.”

She further claimed he calls her derogatory names in front of the children.

“We are engaged in mediation, but it isn’t going anywhere,” she added.

Her husband was not present or represented.

Adjourning the matter for a fuller hearing to May 13, Judge Desmond Zaidan said the order would be posted to him after the woman said she did not want the gardaí to come to the home when the children are there.
