€300,000 to be spent on newly open public garden in Kildare

Some €295,000 is to be spent on the Oldtown Gardens in Naas - the public gardens which Kildare County Council has opened to the public - this year.

Most of the funding (€200,000) will go on path improvement works. It’s also planned to undertake tree works and to start developing a path around a lake and a waterfall as well as reinforcement works and alarm and CCTV systems.
