Kildare County Council has been asked to investigate if a sewage blockage exists in Athy.

Local councillor Brian Dooley asked if KCC can confirm if a blockage exists on the Geraldine Road in the town.

KCC has indicated that  Uisce Eireann has been contacted “via the dedicated email address in relation to this issue.” 

It added that Athy area councillors will be informed of any response from UE.
