Traffic restrictions around Newbridge for St Patrick's Day Parade

Kildare Gardaí have imposed traffic restrictions around Newbridge town to accommodate the St Patrick's Day Parade. 
The road closures and traffic diversions will be implemented between 11am and 2pm. 
The following roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic:
  • The R445/Langton Cross,
  • Standhouse Road/ Langton Road junction,
  • Artillery Place 
  • Moorefield Road 
  • Edward Street 
  • Cutlery Road 
  • Station Road/Eyre Street
  • R445/Naas Road.
From 11am traffic wishing to access Newbridge from the R445/Ballymany will be diverted at Langton Cross onto either Langton Road or The Green Road.
Likewise from 11am, traffic wishing to access Newbridge from the R445/Naas Road will be diverted right onto Canning Place and left onto the Athgarvan Road.
Garda diversions will be manned by Gardai and all persons are asked to co-operate and comply fully with Garda directions.
