Call for road and path repairs in Kildare
Kildare County Council has been asked to resurface and and reline the Geraldine Road in Athy, from the town traffic lights out towards Athy Golf Club.
Cllr Brian Dooley also asked for repairs in places where the footpaths and kerbs “have been impacted due to the number of HGVs with many building projects on the road.”

KCC said that existing “developer led projects” need to be completed first “as they have elements to deliver.”
The council says it will then upgrade this section of road.
