Newbridge man brings pickleball bronze medal back to Kildare

John Dacillo from Newbridge Pickleball Club travelled south for the Munster pickleball tournament last weekend.

Dacillo did superbly in the competition and came back to Kildare with a bronze medal from the men's doubles 3.5 section. 

There were four medalists from Newbridge during the tournament. 
Christian Lapitan was John’s partner for the men’s doubles. Christian and his partner Natalya Boyko came third place for the mixed under 3.5.
Maria McQuillan also received bronze for the 50+ women’s doubles under 3.5 and 50+ mixed doubles under 3.5.

The long trip proved worth it in the end for John and his partner and Newbridge Pickleball have extended their congratulations to their club member saying they "were very proud of his achievement."
