A team of seven soldiers, of which the majority reside in Co Kildare, are taking part in the 32 Peaks of Ireland challenge in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation.

Over the course of 85 hours, the soldiers will be climbing 32 peaks across 32 counties in Ireland, each carrying a 32lb bag.

This is a truly ambitious and meaningful challenge, with the group doing it to support the Irish Heart Foundation's vital work in heart health.
