Planning permission has been refused by An Bord Pleanála for an €8.4m residential development in Clane, The Leinster Leader can reveal.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), an appeal lodged with An Bord Pleanála on February 10 last overturned KCC's decision to grant planning permission for the development of 39 residential units at Capdoo, Clane W91 H10F, Co. Kildare.
The proposed development consisted of: 18 three-bed semi-detached units; 13 terraced units (five two-bedroom terraced units and eight three-bedroom terraced units) ranging in height from two-three storeys; and eight maisonette units (four two-bedroom maisonette units and four one-bedroom maisonette units) comprised within two two-storey buildings.
New pedestrian, cyclist and vehicular infrastructure, accesses and connections were to be provided for as part of the development.
