An Garda Síochána Kildare are appealing to the public for witnesses to an assault on a group of six men which occurred at St. John's Lane, Athy, Co. Kildare at 1.38am on February 8, 2025.

Speaking on KFM's weekly Crimetime Slot, Garda Sean O'Mahony explained that a group of six young men were gathered chatting on their home from socialising when they were approached by three men who were unknown to them.

A brief conversation took place between the nine men before an argument ensued and the three unknown males punched two of the six men in the eye.
