An Garda Síochána Kildare are appealing to the public for witnesses to an assault on a group of six men which occurred at St. John's Lane, Athy, Co. Kildare at 1.38am on February 8, 2025.
Speaking on KFM's weekly Crimetime Slot, Garda Sean O'Mahony explained that a group of six young men were gathered chatting on their home from socialising when they were approached by three men who were unknown to them.
A brief conversation took place between the nine men before an argument ensued and the three unknown males punched two of the six men in the eye.

One of the men required medical treatment in hospital and was taken for treatment by ambulance.
Garda O'Mahony said the men who were attacked are all safe and well - but gardaí are appealing for information from the public that could identify the three males who had approached and attacked the group of six men.
