Community College in Kildare staging Legally Blonde musical

The halls of Curragh Community College in Kildare are buzzing with anticipation as students and staff prepare for the highly awaited school production of Legally Blonde.

Scheduled to take the stage on the 26th and 27th of February, this vibrant musical promises to be a highlight of the school year, showcasing the incredible talent and hard work of the students of Curragh Community College.

Legally Blonde, based on the popular film and novel, follows the journey of Elle Woods (Emma Behan), a spirited sorority girl on her chaotic journey to win back her ex-boyfriend, Warner Huntington III (Vasile Roga).

Leaving her glamorous life in Beverly Hills behind, Elle embarks on a bold adventure to pursue a law degree at Harvard Law School. With the unwavering support of her sorority sisters—Margot, Serena, and Pilar (Lexi Muldowney, Brooke Hughes, Eva Kelly)—her insightful college mentor, Emmet (Scott Doyle), and her fabulous hairstylist, Paulette (Ellie Maher), Elle discovers the power of law to make a difference.

When she courageously defends fitness queen Brooke Wyndham (Ali McGannon) in a high-stakes murder trial. The production is known for its catchy songs, energetic dance numbers, and heartwarming message.

Under the direction of Mr Aidan McColgan, the cast and crew of almost 60 students have been rehearsing tirelessly to bring this iconic story to life.

In addition to the talented cast, the production features impressive set designs and vibrant costumes all contributing to an unforgettable theatrical experience.

The Riverbank Arts Centre will be transformed into the world of Elle Woods, complete with pink decor and Harvard Law School's iconic setting.
