A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on January 31 2025 for the change of use of part of the existing ground floor of the premises formerly known as 'The Winning Post', Newbridge, Co Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), the application is for the licensed premises – on Eyre Street, Newbridge - to be changed to a premises for the sale of hot food (off the premises).

Also applied for are alterations to the internal layout on the ground floor, new toilet facilities, along with all associated site development and facilitating works.
The architect for the proposed project is David Higgins Architectural & Planning Services.
