The new Parish Clubs Flag represents the many clubs and organisations active across the parish

Kildare North TD and Minister James Lawless, has congratulated the Broadford Area Residents Association (BARA) following the official raising of the parish's newly designed Parish Clubs Flag on Tuesday, August 4 2026.

"I would like to congratulate BARA, Paddy Maguire, and everyone who gave their time to designing and delivering what is such a thoughtful idea.

"I want to thank Fr. Brian for his blessing, and it was great to have Kildare Senior Football Manager Brian Flanagan and Cllr Daragh Fitzpatrick with us this morning. Thanks also to Enfield Credit Union, whose sponsorship made the new flag poles possible."

Enfield Credit Union were the main sponsors of the new flag poles and were represented at the ceremony.

Clubs and organisations represented on the flag include Cloughrinka GAA, BBC United, Balyna, Broadford Hurling & Football, Broadford Camogie & Football, and Johnstown Bridge GAA.
