Kildare shelter's Banjo ready to start his next chapter

KWWSPCA highlights their dog of the week and thanks people for support for Newbridge Town Hall pop up Autumn fair
This week, the spotlight turns to Banjo, a strikingly handsome 3-year-old lurcher/collie cross, who is hoping to find a loving home and a family to call his own.
Banjo is an intelligent and affectionate dog with plenty of potential. A clever boy who is eager to please, he already knows some basic commands and can undoubtedly learn more with time and patience. He particularly enjoys spending one-to-one time with the shelter volunteers, making the most of those precious moments of attention and having some quiet time away, but equally he loves his daily walks, getting out and about to explore the surroundings.
Like many dogs who spend an extended period in a shelter, Banjo is beginning to feel the strain of shelter life. While the volunteers continue to provide him with attention and affection, nothing can truly replace the comfort and security of a loving home. The hope is that Banjo will soon have the opportunity to leave shelter life behind and begin the next chapter of his life in a home where he can feel safe, settled and cherished.
With his intelligence, willingness to please and affectionate nature, Banjo has the potential to form a deep and lasting bond with the person or family who gives him that chance. In return for a little time, understanding and commitment, his future family will gain an exceptionally loyal friend who will be delighted to share life’s everyday adventures with them.
All he needs now is a chance to show just how special he is. Could you be the person to give Banjo the second chance he needs? To find out more about Banjo, please visit our website at www.kwwspca.ie
Our sincere thanks to everyone who attended our recent Pop Up Autumn Fair at Newbridge Town Hall. We were delighted with the fantastic turnout and the wonderful support shown by the local community.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who so generously donated items to help make this event possible. The stalls looked absolutely wonderful, filled with an incredible variety of items, and this was all thanks to the kindness of those who donated to our charity shop, Noah’s Ark or directly to the shelter. It was a hugely successful fundraising weekend and all proceeds from the fair will go directly towards helping the animals in our care. We are truly grateful for your continued support, which helps us raise vital funds for the animals in our care.
